The movie story revolves around the Kaali (Rajinikanth ), who is a warden of College boys hostel. One fine day, he found that the hostel is dominated by a group of unruly final-year students. The leader of this group is the son of a gangster. Kaali tries to stop unruly activities, because of this incident, Kaali and dreaded gangster both are enemies.

THALAIVAR is an outstanding performance for this movie. Fans of Rajinikanth told that the full power of Rajini sir on screen He is not a man he is something. The first-half super, but the second half is ok. Due to the second half, some disappointment for fans but full movie is good.
